The Birth of FC Dynamite
Born from a spark in the heart of Sofia on August 28, 2022, FC Dynamite wasn’t just founded; it was ignited. We created this club with a clear vision – to bring together ambitious, competitive players who wanted more than just casual football. From day one, our goal was to build something meaningful: a team defined by attacking football, unity, and a relentless winning mentality.
Our journey officially began in the 2022/23 season in SPL3. Stepping into the league for the first time, we knew we were entering a demanding environment filled with experienced and well-organized teams. The opening matches were a process of adaptation – learning the tempo, adjusting tactically, and building chemistry between us on the pitch.
Very quickly, though, we began to show our identity. Our games became intense, open, and attacking. We played without fear, pressing high and taking risks, which made us one of the most entertaining teams in the division. That same approach, however, also exposed areas we needed to improve, especially defensively, and we learned those lessons the hard way in several matches.
As the season progressed, we grew stronger together. Our understanding improved, our structure became more disciplined, and we started turning strong performances into consistent results. With every game, confidence increased, and we found ourselves competing directly with the top teams in the league.
By the end of the season, we secured 4th place, finishing just three points behind The Gentlemans. For a debut campaign, this was more than respectable – it was a statement. We proved, both to ourselves and to everyone else, that we belonged at this level and had the potential to go even further.
The 2022/23 season became the foundation of who we are. The precise date: 04.06.2023 – the day we beat The Aristocrats who just needed 1 point to secure the league title. This win (5:4) shaped our identity, set our standards, and defined our ambition. It was only the beginning, but it laid the groundwork for everything that followed.
Resilience and Reward: Our First Trophy
The 2023/24 season tested us in ways we had not experienced before. After the strong foundation we built in our debut year, expectations were higher – both from within the squad and from those around the league. Competing again in SPL3, we aimed to take the next step, but the campaign proved to be far more complex than anticipated.
We struggled to find consistency during the regular season. Performances varied, and despite showing flashes of our attacking quality, we were unable to maintain momentum over a longer period. The competition was tighter, the margins smaller, and every dropped point proved costly. We finished 7th in the regular season – a position that did not reflect our ambitions, but one that forced us to respond.
And we did.
Entering the Small Cup, we approached it with a different mentality – focused, disciplined, and determined to prove our true level. Match after match, we showed resilience and character, combining our attacking strength with improved organization. This time, we delivered when it mattered most.
Winning the Small Cup became the turning point of the season. It was our first trophy as a club – a moment that validated our progress and rewarded the work we had put in since our formation. It also showed that even in a difficult campaign, we had the mentality to compete and win.
At the same time, we took on an additional challenge by competing in SPL5 with FC Dynamite II. That campaign followed a very different trajectory. We were dominant during the regular season, finishing 2nd and establishing ourselves as one of the strongest teams in the division. However, the final phase did not go as planned. A series of losses in the Top 6 stage saw us drop to 5th place by the end of the season.
Despite the ups and downs, the 2023/24 campaign was crucial for our development. It tested our depth, our mentality, and our ability to compete across multiple fronts. Most importantly, it delivered our first piece of silverware – a milestone that proved we were not just building a team, but a winning club.
Relentless Rise: The Push to the Top
The 2024/25 season marked a clear turning point in our journey. After the lessons, setbacks, and breakthrough moments of the previous campaign, we entered SPL2 with a stronger mentality and a more complete team. This was no longer about potential – it was about proving that we could compete at a higher level and sustain it.
From the very beginning, we showed consistency that had been missing before. Our structure was more disciplined, our decision-making sharper, and our attacking play more efficient. We were no longer just an entertaining team – we had become a balanced and controlled side, capable of managing games and delivering results.
The defining stretch of the season came in the form of an incredible run of eight consecutive victories. During this period, we played with confidence, intensity, and clarity, imposing our style against every opponent. Most notably, two of those wins came against Titanite Old Stars – the eventual champions – proving that we could go head-to-head with the very best in the league.
That run established us as one of the strongest teams in the division and pushed us firmly into the title race. Every match carried weight, and every point mattered. We maintained our level throughout the campaign, showing maturity and resilience in key moments.
In the end, we finished 2nd – a result that reflected both our progress and our ambition. While we fell just short of the title, the season confirmed that we had taken a major step forward. We were no longer chasing relevance; we were competing for the top.
The 2024/25 campaign was about belief. It proved that our identity, built over the previous seasons, could translate into consistent success at a higher level. More importantly, it set the stage for what was to come next – a team ready to fight for the biggest prize.
Crowned in Chaos: Champions of SPL1
The 2025 season will forever stand as the defining chapter in our history. Entering SPL1, we knew we were stepping into the highest level of competition we had faced so far. Every opponent was organized, experienced, and capable of punishing even the smallest mistake. But this time, we were not here to adapt – we were here to win.
From the opening matches, we showed that we belonged among the elite. Our performances combined everything we had built over the previous seasons – attacking quality, tactical discipline, and a growing sense of confidence. We approached every game with intent, controlling matches and imposing our identity against strong opposition.
The title race, however, was anything but straightforward. As the season progressed, the margins became razor-thin, and every result carried massive importance. Off the pitch, the league was shaken by a complicated situation surrounding the number of committed fouls, creating uncertainty and tension across the competition.
In the midst of that chaos, we stayed focused. We continued to deliver results, maintaining our level when it mattered most. Our consistency, combined with our ability to handle pressure, ultimately placed us at the top.
When the season concluded, we were crowned SPL1 champions.
It was more than just a title – it was the culmination of everything we had built since our foundation. From a newly formed team in SPL3 to champions of the top division, the journey had been defined by growth, resilience, and belief. The challenges of the season only made the achievement more meaningful, and the rule changes that followed highlighted the impact of that campaign on the league itself.
The 2025 title was not the end of our story – it was the beginning of a new standard. A statement of who we are, and a benchmark for everything that comes next.
Evolution of the Crest
Since our foundation in 2022, the identity of FC Dynamite Sofia has been closely tied to our crest. From the very beginning, we aimed to create a symbol that reflects our name – energy, power, and impact. The original logo captured that idea, representing the spark that brought the club to life and the ambition that continues to drive us forward.
As the club evolved, so did our visual identity. Subtle refinements were made to modernize the design, improve clarity, and align the crest with the growing professionalism of the team. Each version has stayed true to our core values while adapting to the next stage of our journey.
Today, our crest stands as a symbol of everything we have built – from our first steps in SPL3 to becoming champions of SPL1. It represents not just our past, but our future, carrying the identity of FC Dynamite wherever we compete.
